Splendid Pet Nat from Lucy Chilvers in Catalunya. On the white/orange spectrum, this uses the same Xarel-lo and Muscat as Nuria, with the Muscat picked around ten days earlier to preserve freshness. The Xarel-lo spends around three weeks on skins, while the Muscat macerates for approximately two weeks. Bottled before the end of fermentation (to keep the fizz in!) following the ancestral method. Subtly tropical, with pithy citrus and sunny aromatics. A bottle for summer, at a great price. No additions. Pure wine.
