Anatheme Rouge 2023

Carignan (90%) and Aramon (10%) blend from Thierry Forestier down in the Gard. A former IT consultant, in 2002 Thierry decided to change his life, moving to Souvignargues, a small village 20km from Nimes. He formed a friendship with Eric Pfifferling (of L'Anglore fame) and soon took on a minimal intervention approach in the vineyard and the cellar. Anatheme Rouge is his easy-drinking red, very smooth, fresh, with bright red fruits, lovely grainy tannins, and herbaceous lift. Always great value. This slips down. Zero sulphur. Pure wine.
