Beaujolais Blanc 2023

Cracking Beaujolais Blanc from Séléné. Chardonnay from 30-year-old vines, direct press, vinified and aged in fibre glass tank. This is well balanced, with green apple, ripe citrus, white peach, a soft almondy quality, and just enough zip. The whites from this region can be somewhat nondescript, but this is superb. Zero additions.
