Gisous 2022 (mag)

Séléné's most age-worthy cuvée, only bottled in magnum, and named after Sylvère’s grandmother. Very old (89-years!) Gamay vines + semi-carbonic maceration = pure delight. This is rich with deep, red fruits, herbaceous and savoury notes, a little leather,  some florals, some spice. Smooth, with silky tannins. A profound and elegant, cru-level Beaujolaus. Drinking well now, but this will only grow in complexity with age.
