The oldest vines on the farm, planted in 1974 from massal selection, on shallow soils close to the Premier Quartier parcel. Perhaps the fullest-bodied of this vintage. Deep cassis is highlighted by spice and a beautifully integrated acidity. No matter how bold Jean's wines get, they're never heavy-going.
