Superb light Rhone blend from Lori Hoan aka Domain du Petit Oratoire. This is little more refined than the litre bottle, but with the same confidence and ease. Lori's yearly celebration of the special old-vine parcels around the village of Valliguières, an area historically shaped by its natural spring (the name translates to “fountain valley”). Copains (meaning "Friends") matches fun with refinement, offering baskets of strawberries, raspberries, cherries, some herbals notes, a little spice, and escapist aromatics. Low tannins and a beautiful pureness of fruit, make this an easy ride. Superb from the fridge.
