Crémant Extra Brut 2023/24

The Penguin is back! Jean-Pierre Rietsch's cult crémant returns, this time a blend of the wines from 2023, into which the juices from 2024 were added, in order to start secondary fermentation (aka make it fizzy; the same method as Champagne.)

This is always such a great wine. The bubbles are fine and frothy, the nose zesty and rich, the mouth greedy, energetic yet elegant. One of our all-time favourites and absolute steal at this price. Grab a case while you can.
