Grand Cru Kastelberg 2022

A very steep, rocky hill dominates the Andlau valley on which the Durrmann family vines are planted, with a bedrock of dense schist that produces full bodied, mineral driven wines with incredible ageing potential. To cultivate the hill, past generations had built terraces up the slopes; in the local dialect "Kastelberg" roughly translates to ‘hill of terraces’.
