Grand Cru Kastelberg 22

A very steep, rocky hill dominates the Andlau valley on which the Durrmann family vines are planted, with a bedrock of dense schist that produces full bodied, mineral driven wines with incredible ageing potential. To cultivate the hill, past generations had built terraces up the slopes, in the local dialect Kastelberg roughly translates to ‘hill of terraces’.
