Hic Bibitur

Gamay planted in Gaillac in the 1970s as the AOP chased some of the limelight (and cash) of Beaujolais Nouveau. These vines are in great shape and offer an interesting point of contrast to Gamay from the Beaujolais. Lots of pretty red fruits, berries, juicy and earthy, with a turn towards something herbal and tonic. Unfined, unfiltered, and with zero additions. Pure wine. Perfect with a light chill.
