La Marnière 2024

Arthur Peltier and Achille Ravineau grew up in Cheverny, in central Loire, and have known each other since they were teenagers. They cut their teeth with mentors like Philippe Pacalet (Burgundy), Les Foulards Rouges (Roussilon), and Cheverny legends Hervé Villemade and Clos du Tue-Boeuf, before taking the leap into their own project.

La Marnière is an assemblage of 80% Sauvignon, 20% Menu Pineau, pressed slowly, and aged in fibreglass for six months on the lees. Mineral, aromatic, and long, with crisp pear, spice, snappy acid, and a lovely texture. Suitable with or without food. Zero additions. Pure wine.
