La Vinhota

Picture-perfect summer red from Domaine Balansa, made from the lesser-spotted LLedoner Pelut (a Grenache variant known as 'Hairy Grenache' due to its fuzzy foliage.) This is fresh and aromatic, with lots of raspberry, some pomegranate, some spice, a light floral touch, and the acidity well-balanced against the ripeness of the fruit. Takes you straight to Corbières.
