Arthur Peltier and Achille Ravineau grew up in Cheverny, in central Loire, and have known each other since they were teenagers. They cut their teeth with mentors like Philippe Pacalet (Burgundy), Les Foulards Rouges (Roussilon), and Cheverny legends Hervé Villemade and Clos du Tue-Boeuf, before taking the leap into their own project.
From a 65-year-old parcel of the fabled, lesser-spotted regional variety of Romorantin. This is beautiful expression - complexity, body, depth, herbal aromatics, a lovely waxy reduction, and a profound mineral length. While drinking well now, this will reward patience. Romorantin has incredible aging potential. Zero additions. Pure wine.
