From 70-year-old Macabeu vines by the river in Rivesaltes, near Perpignan. The 2024 is a peach: island time aromatics, fleshy, tinned tropical fruit, with a touch of grip and a wonderfully salty finish. Mataburro continue to produce such fresh and living wines in the heat of the Roussillon. Zero additions. Pure wine.
