Supposedly entry-level Chenin Blanc from Melanie & Aymeric of Mélaric, in Saumur. This is a brilliant example of all we love in Chenin from the Loire: opulent nose, full of apples - fresh, fallen, browned, stewed - bright acidity, yellow fruits, and a lengthy chalky finish. Effortless. You will struggle to find a better Chenin Blanc at this price point.
