Vielle Vigne XXIII

Rare Muscadet from old vines - 70 to 80 years old. This is refreshingly saline, with soft stone fruits and plenty of pithy citrus. A long, smoky mineral line provides beautiful tension. Unbelievable with shellfish (bien sûr!) but also great with creamy dishes or a little spice. Will age well.
