Skin-contact Gewurztraminer from Alsace. Yann Durrmann manages to subvert the norm somewhat: the Gewurz florals and aromatics are all present but kept in check, with a gloriously tropical palate - lychee, kiwi, grapefruit, rose - a lovely saline lift, resulting in a wonderfully fun and elegant wine.
