Stunning Sauvignon Blanc from Julien Desrante of La Part au Groles, from Charente - a wine region best known for Cognac. The 2022 leans toward the saline (whereas the 2023 is much more tropical), with a refreshing sea breeziness, fresh citrus, green apple, gooseberry, and nettle. Medium-bodied, with excellent tension, this is a very good Muscadet substitute and perfect with fish or white meats. Not your standard Savvy B. Zero additions. Pure wine.
